  Windows XP has build-in LNE100TX NIC driver.
  After physically installing the LNE100TX NIC in your computer,
  Windows XP will automatically install LNE100TX NIC driver.
  
  If you want use new driver on LNE100TX(v5) Drivers diskette,
  you must update the driver for this device.   


  Updating the Linksys LNE100TX(v5) Fast Ethernet Adapter driver 
  on Windows XP:


       1. Power off your PC and install the network card.

       2. Turn on power again and then boot up Windows XP.

       3. Click on Start,Control Panel,then doule-click on the
          "Performance and Maintenance" icon.

       4. Doule-click on the "System" icon,then select "Hardware" item.

       5. Click on Device Manager,Network Adapters,then double-click on the 
          "Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter(LNE100TX v4)" item.

       6. Click on Dirver , then select "Update driver..." to update
          Linksys LNE100TX(v5) Fast Ethernet Adapter Driver.

       7. Select "Install from a list or specific location(Advanced)" ,
          then click "Next" icon from "Hardware Update Wizard" dialog box.

       8.  Select "Search for the best driver in these locations".
           Select "Include this location in the search:".

       9.  Enter the driver pathname, i.e. A:\WinXP, then click
           "Next" icon from "Hardware Update Wizard" dialog box.

      10.  When the "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" dialog box is shown,
           the screen will show the following adapter name.

           "Linksys LNE100TX(v5) Fast Ethernet Adapter" 

           Please click "Finish" to complete the installation.
